Changing the way we family to change the World

Love Your Neighbor Campaign

Elmont is working to "Change the Way we Family to Change the World" by intentionally reaching out and connecting with our neighbors. "Love Your Neighbor" is a 12 week campaign where the Elmont Faith Family is challenged to connect intentionally with one neighbor each week. Welcome

Elmont Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. Our primary Vision is to “Be Family.” We do not want to just be a group of people who happen to meet in the same place each week to worship our Savior. We want to Be Family! We want to know and be known, love and be loved. Elmont is a place where we gather as Family to have authentic encounters with Christ, engage in life giving community, and discover our gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!
Our Mission is to: “Change the Way We Family to Change the World!” We believe that as we change the way we interact as family in the church it can help to change and strengthen the nuclear family, which can change the way we family in our community and the world. We are committed to taking the family that is Elmont and sharing that love and inclusion with the World!
We have 5 Core Values that help to undergird our Vision to “Be Family,” and our Mission to “Change the Way We Family to Change the World.” Those core values are found in the acronym of G.R.A.C.E. “G” stands for “Grow.” We are committed to growing in our relationships with Christ and each other. “R” is for “Reach.” We want to reach our communities and the world with the message of Christ’s love in the Gospel. “A” stands for “Accept.” We accept everyone, no matter where they may be on their faith journey so that we can point them to the truth of the Gospel and the power of the Scriptures. It is our desire that all come to Christ and be guided by scriptures in all that they do. “C” is for “Celebrate.” We are a celebratory people. We have been saved by Christ’s work on the cross, adopted into His family, made into a family and we want to celebrate it all the time! And finally “E” stands for “Engage.” We believe that the only way to grow deep in your relationship with Christ is to grow deep in your relationship with other believers. We want everyone who calls Elmont Family to be deeply engaged with their brothers and sisters in Christ; serving each other, caring for each other, holding each other accountable, and loving as family.
We would love for you to be our guest and experience what it is like to Be Family at Elmont!

What do I wear?

Feel free to dress however you feel most comfortable–we have a wide range of attire on a Sunday morning, from jeans and a t-shirt to dress clothes. Whatever works for you works for us!

Where do I go?

When you drive up to Elmont you will see three buildings, the largest is our Worship Center which includes our sanctuary, fellowship hall, and Early Childhood area (birth through 4 yr olds). You will also see our Elementary ministry building (pre-K though 5th grade) and our smaller Life Groups Building. Early Childhood and Elementary ministries are open for both services. When you come into the Worship Center, you will be met by greeters who are there to help you get a name tag, a bulletin, get your kids checked in, get your coffee–whatever you may need. We also have a Connection Corner you’ll want to be sure to visit with information about our church, as well as a gift for joining us!

What should I expect in the service?

The worship service at Elmont is a time for worship through prayer, song, and studying the Scriptures together in community as the Church. Our music is contemporary and led by a band, and our teaching is always rooted in Scripture.
