Elders

Our elders provide spiritual oversight for Elmont. They pray for our church, teach and guard what we believe, and shepherd people through the hardest and happiest seasons of life.

Elder & Lead Pastor

Khris has been a member of Elmont since 2018, on staff since 2022, and has been our Lead Pastor since July of 2025. He and his wife Valinda have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Dennis has been part of Elmont since 2015 and has served as an elder since March of 2018. He and his wife Katherine have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

Jerry has been part of Elmont since 2011 and has served as an elder since October of 2015. He and his wife Gail have 3 children and 10 grandchildren.

Craig and his wife Macy joined the Elmont faith family in 2021, and he was ordained as an elder in 2026. They have 2 daughters.

Lead Pastor

Khris has been a part of the Elmont faith family since 2018, joined the staff in 2022, and became our Lead Pastor in July of 2025. He and his wife Valinda have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Dennis and his wife Katherine have been a part of the Elmont family since 2015. He became an elder in 2018 and then joined staff as our Executive Pastor in 2025.

Kensey joined the staff at Elmont in February of 2021 and took on youth ministry that August. She has been a part of the Elmont faith family since 2018.

Zach has been part of the Elmont faith family since 2023 and joined staff in April of 2026. He leads our creative teams including Worship, Technology, Media, and Communications. He and his wife Stephanie have 2 children.

Elizabeth and her husband Tony joined the Elmont faith family in 2021. Elizabeth joined the staff in May of 2022. She and Tony have 2 children.

Macy and her husband Craig have been members of the Elmont faith family since 2021. They have 2 children. Macy has served on staff since January of 2022.

Valinda has been a member of the Elmont family since 2018 and joined the staff in March of 2024. She and her husband Khris have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Casey and her husband Kyle joined the Elmont faith family at the beginning of 2024. She came on as Director of Finance in August of 2025. They have 2 boys.

Jacob and Savannah have been at Elmont since April of 2021. They have 4 boys. Jacob joined the staff in July of 2026.

Director of Young Adults Ministry

Bennett served as Elmont's youth intern through her high school career, and since graduating has taken on the role of kickstarting Elmont's first ever Young Adults Ministry.

Associate Director of Worship Ministry

Jeff joined the Elmont faith family in 2026 and joined staff shortly after. He and his wife Deirdre have three kids. Jeff helps lead the worship ministry with a specific focus on team building, mentorship, and music selection, and he also serves as one of our backup worship leaders on Sunday mornings.

Beth joined the Elmont faith family at the end of 2024 and joined staff in April of 2026. She helps Zach oversee our creative ministries - Worship, Technology, Media, and Communications - and serves as the worship leader for our youth ministry. She and her husband Dustin have 5 children.

Deacons

Our deacons are the peacemakers of our church. They step into disputes and conflict, help bring people back together, and walk alongside those who are struggling. They serve as couples alongside our elders and staff.

Tony and Elizabeth joined the Elmont family in 2021. Elizabeth is our Director of Connection Ministry. Together they lead a life group and teach our Essentials class. They have 2 children.

Johnny and Taylor joined the Elmont family in 2024. They lead a life group. Taylor is also one of our Hospitality coordinators and a front desk greeter in Early Childhood. They have 1 child.

Kyle and Casey joined the Elmont family in 2024. Kyle works in our student ministry and is one of the first people to greet you at the door. Casey is our Curriculum Coordinator and bookkeeper. They have 2 children.

Ministry Coordinators

Volunteer leaders who keep specific ministries running every single week. Each one is the best person to contact if you want to serve, ask a question, or get plugged in.

Special Needs

Audrey works with our families of children with special needs to make sure they are a fully integrated part of the body at Elmont.
Missions & Outreach

Caitlin and Shanon have a passion for helping our Elmont faith family reach the world for Jesus, whether through local outreach or global missions.
Care & Counseling

Carl heads up our Care and Counseling ministries. A retired chaplain, his role is to make sure the people of Elmont are loved well in any time of need.
Prayer

Casey leads our prayer team and prayer classes. She is passionate about interceding on behalf of the body and teaching our congregation to be bold people of prayer.
Curriculum

Casey works with our Director of Children's Ministry to organize the curriculum our Early Childhood and Elementary ministries use every week.
Men's Ministry

Dustin works with the men of Elmont to coordinate opportunities for fellowship and accountability.
Life Groups

Erick and Rachel serve under our Connection Ministry to encourage and train our life group leaders and connect people into groups.
Security

Khris leads the team that maintains safety in and around our facilities during all Elmont activities.
Women's Ministry

Hilary plans our Women's Ministry events and encourages and equips the women of Elmont to honor God with their lives and in the church.
Baptism

Mark and Missy prepare for those who get baptized here at Elmont and encourage them on the day of their baptism.
Greeting

Kendra and Ashley coordinate our greeting team to make sure every new guest at Elmont is noticed and cared for.
Communion

Keith coordinates our communion team, helping prepare and oversee the elements so our church family can worship without distraction.
Hospitality

Michelle and Taylor work with our staff to coordinate meals for all of the events and celebrations at Elmont.
