Elmont Kids is the Children's Ministry at Elmont Church, our goal is to partner with parents in the spiritual formation and discipleship of children ages birth through 5th grade. Jesus loves children and makes time for them, our priority is to help children know Him, grow in knowledge and understanding of HIm and go tell others about Him. Our desire is to build a strong faith community by offering a safe and dynamic children's ministry environment, practical parenting tools and resources to help families WIN! 

Sunday Mornings

Early Childhood (Birth- 4 yrs)

Elmont Early Childhood knows that children are capable of learning about and loving Jesus at any age. So, we seek to provide age appropriate opportunities for even our youngest church attenders to fall in love with our Savior. Some examples of ways we help them see Jesus is through teaching memory verses and Bible stories, utilizing multi-sensory teaching, and helping provide applications for life. We know that real discipleship starts at home, so we seek to partner with our parents to provide resources that help them be the superhero in their kids' lives. 

Elementary (Pre-K - 5th)

Elmont Elementary Ministry provides a place for children to learn about the Bible and how to follow Jesus in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Our goal is to partner with parents to provide resources to disciple their children at home (where the real work is done) and support them on their journey to train their kids up in Jesus through our Sunday morning program. Sunday mornings in Elmont Elementary ministry include: 1) Large group time where children worship, hear the gospel, and learn the Bible story together. 2) Classroom time where children are split into rooms to learn their Bible verse and dig into their Bible story in an age appropriate manner and group.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Children's Ministry of Elmont Church (Elmont Kids). We know you will find this to be a fulfilling and life giving experience!

Please note, the purpose of this application is to assist Elmont Church in the creation of safe and secure environments for children who participate in our programs and services. For this reason, it may be slightly longer than some other applications you've experienced, but it should not take you more than 10 minutes to complete.

To help expedite the process, we would encourage you to please contact your references and let them know they will be receiving a phone call or email from Elmont Church. Please do not leave any blanks.

Statement and Release

I authorize Elmont Church to contact all individuals, organizations and references listed on this application in order to verify the information I have provided. I agree to release from liability any person or organization providing information related to me, including those persons I have listed as references, as well as contact persons from my previous volunteer work or employment with children. I specifically authorize Elmont Church screening personnel to speak with any past employer or organization where I have volunteered or been employed related to working with children, minors or vulnerable adults. I authorize Elmont Church to undertake a criminal background check concerning my past. I hereby grant to Elmont Church, its legal representatives and assigns, the right and permission to use my name and likeness and to use and publish photographic pictures, video footage and sound recordings of me during church related events, whether via print, digital, broadcast or in any other media and for any lawful purpose whatsoever, at their discretion. I RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS ELMONT CHURCH FROM ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY USE OF THESE PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS REFERENCED ABOVE. I further certify that all the information entered above is true and accurate, and that by typing my name below it is equivalent to my signature.
