About Me

I went to A&M Commerce and earned my degree in Special Education. Later, I married my husband Craig and we now have two spunky little girls. We had lived in town for a while, but in 2020 we started looking for churches that were local. We were already apart of a wonderful church, but we really wanted to be in one town as far as our church, jobs, and kids  were concerned. I am thankful every day that God put us on the path  to Elmont.

History at Elmont

When did you start working at Elmont?

January 1, 2022.

What is your role at Elmont?

I am the Director of Children's Ministry.

What is your favorite part of working at Elmont?

I love getting to help deepen our kids faith by having individual conversations, teaching them in large group, or helping equip parents to be their children's spiritual superhero.

What makes Elmont feel like family?

I've seen Elmont "Be Family" when my husband almost died due to a stroke. One of the most powerful things Elmont did was during service they had a time of prayer for Craig's healing. People gathered together to pray for our specific needs. During this time, they also organized a Go Fund Me, meal trains, gift cards, and so many individuals would message me with Bible verses/songs. All of those actions were so encouraging and everyone really pulled together to get us through a dark and scary time.
